This month I've been tackling my journal a bit differently than I usually do. Lately I have been making time lapse videos of working in my journal so I need to do a full spread at one time. Usually I work in layers. First doing all the collage, then adding paint, and finally laying down some text. It has been fun changing it up a little bit. This also means that I have some finished journaling bits to show!
I really love these little moth print outs that I got a while ago. I feel like they are a good balance of cute and spooky. I want to do a spooky halloween themed journal but I didn't want it to be TOO on the nose, if that makes sense. Art journaling hold such a strange balance of confidence and not knowing what I'm doing. I think that is why I enjoy it so much. I have a lot of knowledge about the subject but still feel like I'm winging it every time.
